Overview of the RecordSeek App


This new video on RecordSeek.com is another in a series of presentations on the Brigham Young University Family History Library YouTube.com channel. There are nearly a hundred videos uploaded so far and we have many more to come. You might consider subscribing to the channel.   1. RecordSeek is one of my favorite tools!

    I also love the RootsSearch extension for Chrome. It allows one to search for records on a number of websites from another one, including FamilySearch, Ancestry, FindaGrave, BillionGraves and quite a few others. How about writing or making a video about that one too? I often use it to search FamilySearch from a landing page of a record on FamilySearch or from a Person page in Family Search FamilyTree. It does not work quite the same as it used to, as it seems to have been updated recently and more website searches added.

  2. I don't find RootsSearch listed at https://familysearch.org/apps. That's the reason I mentioned it.
