I have friends who served a scanning ...Interesting. I have friends who served a scanning mission at the archives in Montreal. While visiting them there, they took us to their work area to show us the operation. As you state, there are no coincidences in genealogy, our friend is a computer geek, when they ran into problems with the scanning, he was able to work it out because of his expertise. I am so grateful to them and their work as I have French Canadian ancestors and have used those scanned records.
