Where are all the digitized records on FamilySearch.org?

For some time now I have been hearing that there are more digitized records in the FamilySearch.org Catalog than there are in the Historical Record Collections. I learned of a way to find all of these somewhat hidden digital records through an interchange on the Yammer program used by FamilySearch volunteers and missionaries.

Here is the key to finding these records.

You might not notice what I did to show only the online or digital records. Here is a screenshot of the pull-down menu to show all that needs to be done.

There is now a selection that will let you search for all the digitized records available in the catalog which may include records not searchable in the Historic Record Collections. Of course, not all of these digitized records are indexed so you may have to use the good old brute force method that required looking at each entry.
