Rules for entering names in FamilySearch Family Tree

I am afraid that many, if not most of the users of the FamilySearch.org Family Tree are unaware of some of the basic rules about entering names in the program. Some of these rules have a direct bearing on how the names are produced for doing Temple ordinances. The rules are not extensive and are concisely set forth in the Family Tree Training Lessons and Videos. The Lessons are set forth in the Learning Center, a part of the website that can be reached by clicking on the link to Get Help on every page of the FamilySearch.org website in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The actual pages containing the instructions looks like this:

Most of these Lessons have accompanying videos, however, the videos are not the entire lesson. The entire lesson is in the printed material. If you only view the video, you will have missed some of the most important parts of the lesson material. Here is a link to this particular lesson.
