At a presentation today, two representatives of FamilySearch.org explained why we are not seeing the new Family Tree interface. The reason is that only a random selection of 5% of the users now have the new interface. Apparently, I am not in the 5%. They indicate that additional 5% increments will be added over the next few weeks.
This new view of FT has a lot to add, memory wise, for the Traditional Pedigree with the Hint, Research, Data Issues, and Green Icon Indicators, plus the photos as portraits, etc. It probably would really disrupt things on servers if the whole thing happened for everyone altogether. I remember they did the same thing with new FamilySearch. Who knows though.
