A Cactus Tangle
Cactus are iconic. Arizona is known for its silhouettes of saguaro cactus. Over the years, I have come to admire the forms and versatility of cactus plants. Cacti are only found in the Western Hemisphere. Rather than being associated with hot and dry climates, they are often found covered with snow or growing in a tropical rain forest. Many types of cactus grow in crowded communities of the same plant. The huge mass of cactus may have grown from a single plant or may have had several beginning points.
