The BYU Family History Portal
Brigham Young University has a number of remarkable resources for genealogy and family history and they are listed on the Family History Portal. Some of the resources listed pertain to acquiring a degree in Family History from the university, but many are extremely useful to researchers. Here are a few of the highlights from the long list of resources.
The Center for Family History and Genealogy
Of course, most of the links on the Portal's list involve links to other resources and the Center for Family History and Genealogy is no exception.
As this screenshot shows, there are quite a few additional links from this webpage. You can spend quite a bit of time exploring all of these other webpages. Here is a screenshot of the Resources menu.
The link to the Area Topic Specific Guides is interesting because it links to even more resources.
Here is an example of the further resources offered when you click on the link to Mexico.
Going back to the Portal, there is a link to the Family History Technology Lab.
This page links to the Technology Lab's free apps for genealogy. You might want to try out some of the programs.
Well, I could go on and on with the list on the Portal, but I suggest you take a look and have some fun exploring new genealogical territory.
